February was an exciting and jam-packed month for Troop 12. We're not ones to let the cold winter temps stop us from having fun and doing exciting things. First up, leader elections took place on February 10th. Every six months, the troop elects a new set of patrol and other leaders for the Troop. Scouts must prepare and deliver a speech to the troop. This past Tuesday (01/06), the Patrol Leadership Committee met to plan February's meetings and themes. This month's activity and outing theme will be Climbing. We also have our Red & Green Court of Honor this month, which means the troop will be rehearsing for the ceremony. For the first meeting, the troop will hold officer elections. Troop 12 just completed a successful summer season. The scouts earned over a whopping 160 merit badges over many campouts, summer camp, the mini venture, and hikes. Let's recap our year.
