About the event
The New Lenox All Scouts Food Drive is an annual food drive held by local Girl Scout and Scouting America units to collect non-perishable items for food pantries to support community members in need.
November 8th is food bag pickup and sorting.
Troop 12 will meet first at Chestnut Pointe Park to coordinate the bag pickup from the neighborhoods.
Once all bags are picked up, we will bring them to the Lincolnway West High School gymnasium for drop-off and sorting.
After we drop off our bags at the gym, Troop 12 will then stay at the LWW gymnasium to assist with car unloading and truck loading.
Once all trucks are loaded with the sorted food, Troop 12 will head to New Life Church to unload the truck and bring the collected food inside New Life Church.
