About the event
COST IS $7 PER TRAIN RIDER | Family members are welcome to join us!
Meet at the New Lenox Train Station by 10:00A. Then it's all aboard for a 1 hour train ride to downtown LaSalle Street Station. Then we'll take a 5 mile hike passing by the following sites:
- Grant Park Formal Gardens
- South Rose Garden
- Buckingham Fountain
- Lakefront Trail
- Site of Old Fort Dearborn
- Cloudgate (the bean)
- Lurie Gardens
- Crown Fountain
- The Rookery Building
- Willis Tower

Then, we'll get back on the train at 2:40P and arrive back in New Lenox shortly after 3:30P.
Bring WATER. Bring an eat-on-the-go lunch. Bring a MASK.
This will qualify as the 5-mile Hike for Tenderfoot!
