About the event
Troop 12 continues to prepare for future backpacking adventures. Join us for our 2nd hike of the season. This will be another 5-mile hike (backpacks optional). We recommend carrying the standard day hiking essentials (basic first aid, water, snacks, light source). We will add backpacks, more weight, and more miles in future hikes.
While the trails are short at the Little Red Schoolhouse, their trails join up with the Palos Yellow Unpaved Trail (White Oak Trail). We will plan on starting our hike at the Little Red Schoolhouse and then join up to the White Oak Trail.
The event points of contact will be Nick Christie and George Nelson.
Meet directly at the Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center parking lot. We will depart at 10:00 AM. Looking forward to seeing many scouts there!
