About the event
Register your patrol to compete in the first annual New Lenox Scouts Chili Cookoff! The winner will receive a "travelling trophy" to be embelleshed and passed on to next year's winner. The public will be invited to judge. Be sure your troop has recruiting materials available. Scouts will also be running "stations" for the general public to learn more about Scouting. Official rules will be published online.
Tentative schedule is as follows...
- 8:00A - Setup Begins
- 9:00A - Cooking Begins
- 1:00P - Gates open to the Public
- 2:00P - Votes are tallied
- 3:00P - Awards Presentation
- 4:00P - Cleanup & Departure
