About the event
New Lenox Scouting for Food" is an annual food drive held by local Scout units to collect non-perishable items for food pantries to support community members in need.
November 9th is food bag pickup and sorting. We will meet at Oster-Oakview School to coordinate the bag pick-up from the neighborhoods. Once all bags are picked up, we will bring them to the Lincolnway West High School gymnasium for drop-off and sorting.
Note: We will need some volunteers after sorting is complete to drop off the sorted food at our assigned food pantry (pantry TBD).
