ATTENTION SCOUTS WORKING ON COMMUNICATION MERIT BADGE THIS MONTH:
To Scouts Who Signed Up for the Communications Badge
Mrs. Weber wants to remind you keep working on at least some of the following in preparation for Tuesday:
Requirement #
2) a creative presentation about yourself (see workbook for examples) OR 2b) build a sales plan and persuade counselor to buy it.
3) identify a topic for your 5 minute speech
4) identify the person you wish to interview - someone you know well or respect because of their career, talent or life experiences (not one of your friends). Write down some questions you will ask them.
5) Plan to attend a Public meeting (village board, school board, debate) to take notes on different sides of a topic discussed
6) If you identified something you’re going to teach, working with others who volunteered on the same topic, write down what you plan to teach and how (what teaching aids might you use?)
